Trust. History. Experience.
The owner of Miranda Construction, J.R Miranda comes from three generations of homebuilders. He grew up in Laguna Beach and Santa Ana. His grandfather was well known for his home building in Laguna Beach. From the time J.R could walk, he would go with his grandfather to the job sites. Eventually he was old enought to start learning the family trade.
In 1977, the family relocated to Pismo Beach. Immediately, J.R.'s father was commissioned to build the foundation and framing of Marie Callendar's in Pismo. For J.R, watching the construction of a national restaurant was an inspiration. It inspired him to get his own contractors license and pursue his own dreams here on the Central Coast. |

The following information explains the above photos:

This grey spa is perfect for this family as they wanted a low maintenance spa, with plenty of room for both a dirt area (to store their trailer), and a grass area. The paver and concrete slab is perfect for the trailer area, and we filled the rest with artificial grass for a low maintenance back yard.
Top Middle Picture:
This client wanted a nice place to retreat to in the middle of their hectic lives. There is a swimming pool and spa built into the ground, with colored stamped concrete surrounding it. Included in this personal paradise are benches and room for seating when it comes time to entertain.
Top Right Picture:
This redwood fence was constructed in an "L" shape to enhance security, without reducing visibility. Because this fence is in a front yard, it was built lower so as not to obstruct the view completely. After it was built, this front yard became a great place for the family to enjoy the wonderful mild weather San Luis Obispo county has to offer!
Bottom Left Picture:
This client had a small space to use, but wanted to utilize the existing planters along the fence.
Bottom Middle Picture:
so we were able to incorporate pavers into their concrete work, which gave them a new backyard, with a small area for them to add a small patch of grass if they wanted to do so in the future.
Bottom Right Picture:
This beautiful driveway is colored to enhance the look and feel of the outside decor by incorporating stamped concrete; a new idea, for an older space.
